A former grazing meadow beside the River Colne in Colchester. It has several typical wetland plants that are now very scarce, including cuckoo flower, and supports many grassland butterflies and other insects in summer.

Visiting

At the rear of Colchester Leisure world on Cowdray Avenue (A133) or via riverside footpaths. Parking at Leisure World.
